The Events Industry in New Zealand has been decimated by Covid-19 and we need your support. We exist to help people connect, collaborate and celebrate, with no international delegates or tourists we all now solely rely on New Zealanders supporting local event companies to survive.

A survey by the New Zealand Events Association (NZEA) of its 3000 members found that 20,000 events have been cancelled or postponed since Covid-19 and almost 35% of those in the industry have lost their jobs.
The events industry supply chain is essential to every event in Christchurch, from corporate events to networking events or entertainment, the industry is essential to helping our business’ and our people connect, collaborate and celebrate.
Our Hospitality, Tourism and Events sectors are what helps our local communities connect. They are what gives everyone who visits New Zealand a unique experience, and what helps to define our culture to the world.
The Events Industry is worth over $1bn to the New Zealand economy. Investment in this industry is essential, not only to keep our economy growing, but to keep New Zealanders from losing their jobs.
